Nowhere Jazz Quartet was formed in 2009 to present drummer Juan Camilo Anzola’s debut album, En Ningún Lugar (2008), recorded with some of Bogotá’s most renowned musicians. Since then, the group has established itself as one of the most active and influential jazz ensembles in Colombia.
With three albums — En Ningún Lugar, Nuevo Rumbo, and Live at the Sinú Jazz Festival 2020 — the quartet has received multiple awards and distinctions, including first place at Jazz al Parque 2009.
Their career includes performances at major national and international venues and festivals such as the Ecuador Jazz International Festival, Ajazzgo in Cali, Sinú Jazz Festival, PastoJazz, ToliJazz, Sogamoso Jazz, and New York’s Silvana Jazz Club — building a vibrant and enduring presence in the Latin American jazz scene.

Desde entonces, el grupo se ha consolidado como uno de los conjuntos de jazz más activos e influyentes de Colombia.
Con tres álbumes —En Ningún Lugar, Nuevo Rumbo y Live at the Sinú Jazz Festival 2020— el cuarteto ha recibido múltiples premios y reconocimientos, incluido el primer lugar en Jazz al Parque 2009.
Su trayectoria incluye presentaciones en importantes escenarios y festivales nacionales e internacionales como el Ecuador Jazz International Festival, Ajazzgo en Cali, Sinú Jazz Festival, PastoJazz, ToliJazz, Sogamoso Jazz, y el Silvana Jazz Club de Nueva York, consolidando así una presencia vibrante y duradera en la escena del jazz latinoamericano.
